Andy graduated from the University of Tennessee at
Knoxville in 2004 with a degree in agricultural economics and business with a minor in animal science. He also
received his master of business administration in 2007 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Andy is currently
working as the fertilizer manager for the Weakley County Co-op located in Greenfield.
Ellie graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2004 with
a degree in animal science. She started her career with Tosh Farms www.toshfarms.com in Henry, TN as their gilt selection manager (see livestock tab for more info.). After
5 years with the company she is now a stay at home mom.
Shortly after graduation Andy and Ellie were married and moved to
West TN and purchased a farm near Dresden. Their farm consists of a contract swine facility, a cow-calf operation,
Boer-Kiko goat herd, Bermuda and mixed grass hay, pine trees, and pumpkins.
Andy and Ellie have a daughter named Josie and a son named Andrew. Other than
farming they are also actively involved in activities at Long Height Baptist Church www.lhbcmckenzie.com, Weakley County Young Farmers and Ranchers, Weakley County Farm Bureau www.tnfarmbureau.org, and the Weakley County Junior Livestock Association. They both hold offices
and support these and other community organizations.
